Mission - Abroad

Dr. Colin and Julia Hurt are currently working in Malaysia teaching and preaching in different churches and at various Christian events throughout Malaysia.  To quote Colin "At ages 65 and 60, launching into missions seems like mission impossible – but with God all things are possible."

They have a very busy schedule including being involved in several local churches (they are based in Kuala Lumpur) and teaching in Bible Schools as far afield  as India, Indonesia, Cambodia and the Philippines. 

Colin and Julia are supported solely by donations from the churches in Malaysia and beyond as well as "Home" churches in England.  The Christian Life Church have committed themselves to support this work both financially and by prayer.  Apart from praying for the obvious (that the work they are involved in will be very successful) they have also asked for prayer that they will stay healthy and strong for the task and for protection as they travel extensively.

Christian Solidarity Worldwide   This is an organisation which supports Christians in particular in other countries where they suffer for their faith.  The support is far reaching and much appreciated by those who suffer imprisonment, torture and other cruelties for their faith.  This church supports by donating money on a regular basis and also by making special donations when a real need arises. 

Incare (World Ministries A.O.G.)  As the title suggests, this is a work which the A.O.G. Church supports through Incare in many countries throughout the world where there is need.  Missionaries are sent from the church “into the world” to come alongside different peoples, as Dr.’s, nurses, teachers or may be to help run orphanages, etc. and to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the people. There are many hardships and the needs can be huge – but being there to support a needy people is very rewarding.  Hedon Christian Life Church is proud to be able to support many different projects through Incare whether At Home or Abroad.
